Dr Jason Cosmetics ("Dr Jason", "we", "us") makes and sells skincare products in Pakistan. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit drjason.pk, order from us, or contact us on WhatsApp, phone, email or social media; how we use it; who we share it with; and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us

Order and delivery details: your name, mobile number, email address (if you give one), delivery address and city.
Messages: what you send us on WhatsApp, phone, email, Instagram or Facebook, including photos or videos you send about a complaint or return.
Refund details: if we owe you a refund, the bank account or mobile wallet details you give us for it.
Reviews: reviews, ratings and photos you post on our store or on marketplaces such as Daraz.

Information collected automatically

When you use our website, we and our service providers collect device and usage information through cookies and similar tools: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, what you add to your cart, and how you reached our site (for example, from an ad).

Information from others

If you order through one of our authorised resellers or distributors, they share your name, phone number and address with us so we can deliver your order. Our courier partners share delivery status with us.

How we use your information

To process, confirm and deliver your order. Because most orders are cash on delivery, we may call or WhatsApp you to confirm your order and address.
To answer your questions and handle complaints, replacements and refunds.
To send order updates and tracking details by WhatsApp, SMS or email.
To send offers and news if you have agreed to receive them. You can stop these at any time.
To run and improve our website, products and ads, and to measure how our ads perform.
To prevent fraud and fake orders, and to keep our website and business secure.
To keep the records we need for accounting and tax, and to meet our legal obligations.

We may show reviews and photos that customers have posted about our products on our website, social media and ads. We hide reviewers' names and faces unless they have agreed to be shown. If you would like your review removed from our pages, contact us and we will take it down.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed with:

Courier companies that deliver your parcel and collect cash on delivery: your name, phone number, address and the amount to collect.
Shopify, which hosts our online store and processes orders placed on it.
Payment providers, if you pay online. They handle your payment; we do not see or store your full card details.
Messaging, email and advertising services, such as WhatsApp, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google, so we can talk with you and show and measure our ads.
Our authorised resellers and distributors, only when they are handling your order.
Government authorities or others when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.
A buyer or successor, if our business or part of it is sold or merged.

Orders placed on Daraz or other marketplaces are also covered by that marketplace's own privacy policy.

Cookies

Cookies help our store remember your cart, keep the site working, understand how it is used and show you relevant ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the store, such as the cart, may not work without them.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them to deliver, support and account for your order, and to meet tax and legal record-keeping rules. We keep marketing contact details until you ask us to stop. When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it anonymous.

How we protect it

We limit access to customer information to the staff and partners who need it to do their work, and we use the security features of the platforms we work with. No system is completely secure, so please contact us right away if you think your information has been misused.

Your choices

Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
Ask us to correct it, or to delete it where we are not required by law to keep it.
Stop marketing messages: reply STOP on WhatsApp or SMS, use the unsubscribe link in our emails, or tell us.

To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm your identity first. We will reply as soon as we can, and within 30 days.

Children

Our products and website are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you think a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.

Information stored outside Pakistan

Some of our service providers, including Shopify, store information on servers outside Pakistan. They protect it under their own security and privacy terms.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
